Who I am
A childhood immersed in the cultures of both Spain and England means that I have grown up to be bilingual and multicultural in the truest sense: I speak and write both English and Spanish as a genuine native speaker. To a Spanish person, I am Spanish, and to a British person, I am British.
As a child, I would spend my summers in England watching Rainbow and Blue Peter, while back home I was an avid follower of Spanish TV classics, such as El Libro Gordo de Petete and La Bola de Cristal. I will be forever grateful for the insights they gave me! The two cultures have become an essential part of me, and this background gives me a real understanding of content that works across markets and audiences.
My love of communication pushed me initially towards a degree in Journalism, after which I completed a Masters in Conference Interpreting. Most of my professional career has developed in translation and interpreting.
